Roland | 104 visitors not 1 Sale!! why?? |
I got a computer business , selling mostly PC services.
I had my website done 2 weeks ago. The Site looks nice but I have NO sale at all!! Got 104 new visitors in my website but nobody is buying my services. Is it normal? Am I too impatient?/ Thanks. |

I have to agree with the other posters about posting the URL of your site. If we had something to actually review, we could give you more customized advice.
With that said, let me tell you a few things that could be going on.
1. Sales copy. Getting traffic isn't the only thing that is needed to get sales. Traffic only gets people to your website, it is the web copy and the services/products that create the sale. If your web copy is boring, a blatant sales pitch or hard to follow, people will click away. You have only a few seconds to capture the viewers attention before they move on. And, if they are confused at all, they will turn away.
2. Traffic. As someone else already said...Are you getting the RIGHT traffic? In order to convert your traffic, you need to first be attracting the correct traffic. Where is your traffic coming from - are these visitors coming from a place that would typically send your "ideal customer," or are they just stumbling upon you?
3. Services/Products. Are your PC Services something people can use? When you say "PC Services" I envision repairs, installations, maintenance, etc. Is that what you are doing? If so, that sounds local. How does your pricing structure compare to the average household income in your city? Can the average person afford you? Can your ideal customer afford you? Most importantly, are your services worth your asking price....do you even list your prices? Do you give your "potential" clients a way to contact you for more information (you would be surprised by how many people do not offer enough contact resources)?
As you can see, there are many things that play a role in converting traffic into sales.
I also want to let you know that, on average, new businesses do not actually make a profit until after the first year. There are exceptions to this and you should always believe that you are the exception, but don't get discouraged when you are two weeks into business, are getting visitors but just aren't getting conversions. The fact that you have 104 visitors in a two week period is good...a lot of businesses are still trying to get traffic. You are past that step - you only have to figure out how to convert them now.

Are you selling services to help people use computers? If it's something for your local area, you'll want to promote it in your town somehow. How about putting a sign on your car or offering free services for a year contest in combination with your local dry cleaners. |

It all depends on where you got your traffic. Did you buy this traffic? It also depends on how your page is set up. Do you have good prices? Try to get more links, trade with people or buy some from sites like www.superrichguy.com |
