I am having some A6 flyers printed to advertise a business i am starting.
Seeing as much as 90% of these posted flyers will probably end up in peoples waste bins, i need some ideas as to what i could put on the reverse side of them so maybe people will keep the flyer even if they dont need my services at that time

A coupon is a fantastic idea - but try several coupons. Pair up with other business who will also contribute a coupon for the back of the ad. You could as them to help cover the cost of printing, or just get them to do it as free advertising for them. |

You may want to offer a coupon or honestly free service offer on there. Fliers are not one of the most effective forms of communicating at this day in age. You may want to consider a direct email campaign to your target customers. But create the email to be a useful news letter that offers resources, and does NOT sell anything. More so a way to create to of mind awareness.
Just some ideas.

Make something that is colorful and attractive. Use a lot of pictures, and laminate paper instead of plain computer paper. Use a catchy phrase. A calandar depends on your budget, so choose wisely. Good luck! ☺ |

A calendar is a good idea, but can you find something RELATED to your business that perhaps folks would want? As you didn't mention the business I'll give you a couple of examples.
If you were doing something automotive, you could have a few tips on the reverse for increasing fuel efficiency--regular tune ups, tire pressure, not carrying a load of junk in the trunk, etc.
If you were offering animal care you could have a list of foods dogs should not eat: chocolate, onions, grapes, etc. as well as plants that are poisonous to them.
In other words info related to your business could encourage them to hang on to your flyer and even regard you as potentially having expertise in something they care about.
I'd put the logo and name of the biz up top and lay out the info very nicely and then some contact info at the bottom. Can't hurt. Also make sure to use a lighter color of paper and black ink--those stupid dark colored papers with dark ink are too hard to read--can be light blue, yellow, light green, etc. don't hurt peoples' eyes. |
