I have asked this question before, and ended up with network marketing answers. I want to work from home, selling products, one would sell in a real sales environment, or phone room. Does anyone know of anything out there. I am not looking for a guaruntee salary. What I need is a viable proven potential to make six figures. Meaning, other people have had great success in selling the product from home/ phone. |

I have been doing exactly that for the last few years, although my goals have evolved somewhat where I spend more time now with campaign development, scripting and coaching callers.
I got started on my own a number of years ago when I decided I wanted to be more than a telemarketer in a call center and moved out on my own.
I first approached a number of local business looking for opportunities to establish myself and my services as a cold calling professional.
Keeping in mind that most people don't like cold calling and that is where I looked first. Sales people that have to cold call or should be calling that don't want to.
Let me tell you....new clients are not hard to find. Just think of anyone you know that sells for a living and "cold call" them.
When starting out, most times, especially smaller businesses may only want to pay you according to the number of leads you generate (PPL), which can be scary at first when you have bills to pay.
My first contract was with an alarm company that paid $15 per appointment and a $50 bonus if it lead to a sale.
Since then I have worked independently with a number of clients including fortune 100 companies and although I don't make six figures a year, I could if I wanted to. In fact at this point I have a few companies that pay me a monthly retainer simply as a project adviser.
Bottom line, let me suggest you forget about the many work at home jobs on line and start something locally and build from there. Once established and have developed a track record you can branch out to bigger and better things. |

I work from home for a company that sells discount dental and health benefits. We are a 15 year old stable company, with our Corporate office being in Dallas, Texas. Our top earners make realistically into the 6-figure income. It is residual income and effort must be put into it, but it is very much worth the effort! We offer great training and support as well.

They probably do exist...but in such small numbers that you would need an inside connection to even find out about it.
Almost every work-at-home job is a scam. If you really want to work from home, I would recommend taking a medical transcription or billing course. These are two jobs you can do from home as a 1099 (contractor)employee. Some medical insurance companies will hire you as a traditional, W-2 employee as well -- though you generally will have to report to work for a 3-6 month training period to prove yourself.
