I'm a realtor and I'm offering a trip to Hawaii + $1,000.00 in closing cost on me, if someone uses me as there reatlor to buy or sell. I'm not getting any response, why? Remember, using a realtor to buy a home you pay them no fee! |

You dont see realtors offering something like that ever!

You need to dig deeper into your marketing strategy. Define your target market and develop a unique selling proposition tailored to their needs, not unnecessarily what you have to offer or what you think they want.
Try asking potential clients what made them decide to work with you, or asking other Realtors in your area what people need most out of their agent - and capitalize by finding a way to give that to them.
The way you present your offer and headline are essential as well. If you sound needy for clients, you may be pushing them away.
Learn more about developing a marketing plan - it will benefit your career in the long run. A good place to start is at the Small Business Association SBA - searching online will also lead you to many strong marketing plan outlines, tips, and strategy ideas. |

You don't say what state your in, so I will use the state im in currently as an example. The real estate market has slowed down sooo much here in South Florida that several times on the front page of the newspaper are realtors offering anywhere from flat screened tv's, to furnishings for their new home, to new cars! And apparently, people are taking them up on it...So, im not to sure why you aren't having any luck. Maybe it is the way you are wording it or approaching it that it doesn't sound legit? even though it is? maybe you should just offer a trip in general, since not everyone wants to go to Hawaii, or just up the closing cost moeny, so people can do what they want with the extra money...Hope it works out for you! |

In general bonus offers like this usually help.
Not having seen the full offer, I can't be sure, but I suspect you're missing some crucial ingredient. Maybe a "reason why" statement, as in "how can I afford to do this? here's how...." and you explain your real and true reasons. Could be, you know you'll make enough to cover your costs, and you expect glowing referrals so you'll end up making more because you sell more houses.

You probably aren't getting any response because it doesn't even sound legitimate. Sounds like a scam. How would you pay for a trip to Hawaii and the closing costs when you don't even know how much they will be? You should also check with the Attorney General in your state because an offer like this could be against the law. And by a trip to Hawaii, do you mean some out of the way hotel sleeping rooms like you would get for free at a time share presentation? And it does not include airfare? If so, don't do it. Anyone you do that to will tell 100 of their closest friends how you lied and cheated them. Good luck. The housing market kind of stinks right now. |
