Advice required for website marketing ..?

I have had a website selling beds to the UK for nearly a year now and I am not attracting any traffic to it? Could someone please advise?

Adwords is carefully calulated according to the competitiveness of any particular keyword (as the keywords relate to various target industries).

First of all you need to have some good content on your site. This will attract the attention of the Search Engines. I have not seen your site so cannot make a judgement, but if you have several pages of good content describing your beds this will definitely help.

You can track the popularity of your site at alexa.co.uk which will give you some idea of how you are progressing.

To attract more traffic you could also try some free marketing and details can be found below. This concentrates on local marketing first, but once people have the name of your site, news travels fast and they will talk to their friends.

Are you ranking in the search engines?
You need to optimize your site to rank high for your chosen keywords, and use off-site optimization ie backlinks etc. There are several factors to look at, and not enough room here!!!!

Do you mean the mattresses, or just the bedframes? Either way I suspect that most everyone that buys these items (me included) will buy them in person rather than thru the internet. Maybe you just have an item that doesn't draw many queries via the internet.
