Keep the cars clean & shining brightly. Hold an open house with free coffee, cookies, cokes, balloons or some other giveaways. Let folks walk freely around your lot inspecting the open cars with no sales pressure at all. No bs talk just straight honest helpful answers to questions from potential customers. |

Through advertisement, sparkling ads. Make colorful, inviting banners around. Have come on cars in front with special price and loads. Ladies in G-strings sure can push them in you area of exciting moods. |

There is one sure fire method that never fails...
Have a one day sales event, where some of the cars will be marked down throughout the day...say as low as 500.00 for a car...One car mind you...people will show up at 6:00 in the am to sit in a hot *** car all day..hoping they get the 500.00 one...once you've gotten someone to commit to sitting in a car all day...even if you only mark the one they're sitting in down by a few hundred dollars...they're twice as likely to commit to the purchase of the vehicle...I've seen it work too many times...
People get attached to the vehicle they first decide to sit in...after sitting in it all day...they begin to feel a sense of ownership of the car...and are more likely to sign a deal for it...
make sure to make your final mark down near the end of business of course...then when you've marked the 500.00 giveaway car down...be sure to have your salespeople available to speak with those sitting in the rest of the vehicles...be sure to have the free drinks and hot dogs doesn't hurt..as it makes it a "all day" no need to find lunch type of affair...
It works...like a charm... |

Before I help you with this, first ask yourself: "Do I just want foot traffic? or do I want qualified buyers who are ready to buy a car?"
Popcorn, hot dogs and balloons are nice...but they don't sell cars. It's fine if you just want to have a party on your lot, but those types of events attracts slackers, moochers and the type of people who would rather die than pay for anything.
I can help you with this, but you need to decide what you want to accomplish first. Do you just want traffic or do you want people ready to buy.
