Are online paid survey for real?

No dude. If you get emails like that just mark it as spam and don't fill up any details.

i think its real but then again you have to give out your fullname, address, and telephone number so pretty much they are buying your information and maybe sell it to other companies or something

A handful are, but most are not. The real ones usually offer very low payment, lots of intrusive information, many "qualifying" surveys, and uncommon paying surveys.

The only one that offers real surveys very often that pays decently of all that I've seen is Pinecone Research, and they recruit through periodic invite periods or rare banner ads.

I was looking at HotJobs and got one of these, too. My guess is they're not real. The whole purpose of a survey is to contact RANDOMLY selected people and find out what they want. Someone who answers surveys as a full time job is not going to accurately represent the public at large, because you'll be getting the same person every time.

Also, beware of clerical positions where they send you checks and let you keep 10%. I saw this scam on Dateline.

I was looking into that myself a couple of months ago and I've drawn the conclusion that it's all just scam and spam. I've heard different things...not good things...about online surveys. Some of them offer very little work. When you do get work you get paid, not in money, but "points" and they aren't worth much. You can't redeem them for air mileage, coffee makers, gasoline, or groceries. I haven't really found any real online opportunitues that are "real" just yet.

These are all tested sites that pay good and are legit. All you need to do is write review on anything you want and they pay you $2 for every review. Plus it is completely free to join. This is a very easy way to earn money online. Hope this helps.

Hello,

I'd try to stay away from "work from home" typing jobs.

While there IS money to be made from home, typing or surveys are not the best way to go.

The best way to go is to start your own business!

When I say that, I mean there are really a number of ways to make money online.

Here are just a few of them:

1. Make a website or blog on a topic that you know about.
Then, you sign up to AdSense and other PPC content sharers, and you make money when people click on your links.

2. Sell an actual product
You can still make money by selling advertising space, but this way, you make money by selling a product.

3. Sell a digital downloadable product.
Like an eBook or some other type of digital product. This way, you don't have to deal with postage or anything like that. It's like an online vending machine!

It's really easy to set up websites like these. In fact, you can buy a website on eBay for very very little time or money, and start making money within a week or two of marketing your website!

Anyways, I hope this post helps you to see other avenues of making money online...
