Hopefully you've done plenty of reading...you can become your own best broker so to speak in time by spending a good deal of time reading books, investment strategies, newletters, etc. I would higly recommend books such as The New Buffetology, Trade Like Warren Buffett, Confessions of a Street Addict by James Cramer, and Investment All-Stars to familiarize yourself with some of the lingo and rub shoulders with the best. Always stay diversified and be content starting small, safe, and thinking more long term. Holding over the long term requires patience, but will yield surprising results. |

Oh, I was you one day. What i did i went to my local Edward Jones office and told them wanted to be a stock broker. So I filled out the necessary forms and within 3 weeks the real forms came in, so i could start my training. Go to the Edward Jones website and look under career opportunities

best option is not to get into stock market. if you have money, put it in NSC / post office monthly income scheme etc. If you are serious about loosing money invest in shares. |

Start out by educating yourself, there are many ways to make money on the stock market and the best thing to do in the beginning is read. Later start by putting together a ficticious portfolio. That is, say your intention is to invest $10,000 dollars some time in the future. then pretend to buy some stocks or funds and follow their performance. Factor in the cost of trading in evaluating your performance and then see whether you out performed the major indices. Then you have some idea if your choices were good. Look into other things like options trading and also day trading where the rules are different |
