If I was in the market for a second hand car, I would first look at Autotrader - because I can choose my area. Only if I found nothing in Autotrader would I look on eBay...

Advertise your car in multiple places so that it has a higher chance of selling.
If you're only looking at eBay or autotrader, use autotrader because it is specifically for cars.
