These days a flyer is not going to convince me to hire you to watch my children. I have to know you and trust you. Try talking to the parents and gettingt to know them. Offer to hang out with them while the parents are there so they can see how mature and responsible you are. |

I think that people are much more likely to hire a babysitter based on references. Try and get your mom and dad to ask around their work places if people need sitters. I would also become certified, it is an easy class and really helps people feel more comfortable leaving their children with you. Also, if you already have people you are babysitting for, let them know that you are looking to pick up more clients. If you aren't sitting for anyone, see if you can go with a friend once to see what it is all about. It is a catch 22, I wouldn't leave my children with someone who had never babysat before. You want them to feel comfortable with you :) |

If I was looking for a teenage babysitter I would ask if you did weekends and if you were experienced with baby's or toddlers? Maybe you can answer these and add them to your flyer. |

try to put the fliers on peoples doors. They have to notice them that way. Also try to really make ur fliers pop so they will catch peoples eye. Another good way is to list ur abilities. So they can see wat u can do and stuff. good luck!! |

Talk to your parents' friends. If you talk to more adults and are mature they are likely to tell their friends etc. That is how I hit it big. I make at least 80$ a week now. Try it. |
