Best way 2 advertise my new damp proofing and plastering business on internet?

Try the following:

1) Get your website on a few local online directories - Are you in the UK? Try the free listings on yell, thomsons local, touch local, kellysearch and county web.

2) look online for companies local to you - Builders, electricians, etc and ask them to place a link on their website to your and then you'd return the favour.

3) set up a local adwords campaign (targeting areas you are willing to travel to rather than the whole of the UK).

4) add you website to free classifieds - craigslist, yahoo classified, etc.

5) collect data from customer and then keep then up to date with your offers, services, etc. They may not realise the range of services you provide.

Don't, advertise in the real world.

Because on the internet it's great to have a website, which can give people tons more information, but you likely want localized business(you don't want business in NY if you're in Washington). So instead of advertising online, start a website for information and advertise locally in the paper for example. This is an example of a business that is more local.

I would also recommend Craigslist (type it into google).

Also, a good e-marketing strategy should include PPC (Pay-per-click Advertising). Type this term into google, it can do a lot for your business.

Also, look into producing some company graphics and create banners, buy some advertising space on strategically picked websites and place your banners there. All of this is assuming that you have a website.
