if race car drivers get millions to wear company logo, why do we drive cars with car names and get nothing? we drive cars everyday by having brand name on the cars and we don't get paid. LIke if I have honda and i am driving it everyday and literally adverising it..My point is there should not be any brand name on the car..It is free adv for the car company..just a thought |

Don't forget race car drivers also have a dozen or two other logos on their cars. I don't imagine that you have target, walmart, cannon, sony, general mills, lays, coke, sprite, pepsi, etc. decals all over your car. When they are racing, it is their job. When the day is over and they drive their normal cars, he/she is not getting paid to advertise that car. They don't get to drive the race car home. In fact they have to buy their own normal everyday cars just like the rest of us!
Then there is also the issue of status. People that buy new Mercedes want the Mercedes logo on their hood. That logo says "hey look at me I just bought a brand new Benz and I'm RICH!" |

ask yourself this, if there is no logo on it said "Honda", will you buy it? you might, but most people will not, because the brand is what most people considered. A brand name is very important to consumer, think of how much money they put into advertising. The brand logo is the condensed symbol for all the marketing achievement that the company has done.
Another example, Mac laptop, if there's no apple logo on the laptop, do you want it?
Yes, you're right, they are advertising through the logo, but it is also symbolic and fashionable. |

depending on where you live, if you have a nice car, businesses will pay you to advertise on your car, check the yellow pages or internet, you will have to put decals on your car of course |

You can take the name off the car if you like , there is no law to say you must keep the name on the car. but hey if you are driving a Ferrari you would want the name on as you just paid over £100,000 for it. think nike shoes if you gave the option to their customers to not have the brand name on it I think most would want it as its a symbol of cool in the world of shoes. |
