I agree with most of the people answering this question. Buying traffic is a bad idea. First you have to ask yourself why you want traffic on your website. Most of the time the answer is because you want people to view your content, purchase your products, etc... When you are buying traffic you are only getting a bunch of non-qualified traffic. These aren't even people looking at your website it is an automated system. If, in the rare occasion, real people are landing on your site from these scams they want nothing to do with the content you are providing in the first place.
This kind of traffic will just end up slowing down your website or even costing you more money in bandwidth fees depending on your hosting provider. Not to mention, if you ever plan to sell advertising on your website your bounce rate will be extremely high and your click through rating will be extremely low. This will make it very hard for you to negotiate advertising fees on your website.
There are many other ways to get traffic to your website and if you are willing to pay money, I would suggest contacting an actual Internet Marketing firm. Many of these companies are willing to work within your budget and get you traffic from sources relevant to your content. Whether a search engine campaign or simply finding you great deals for advertising on related websites.
If your on a limited budget, consider researching search engine optimization on your own and do some link building. The basic principles are generally easy to follow and will help you to get real traffic to your website. |

Buying traffic is a bad idea in my opinion. You could can get thousands of visitors by buying traffic, but if it is not targeted traffic it will be mostly useless. You need traffic that is highly relevant, in other words visitors who are interested in what your website is about.
One way to get traffic to your website is to write some articles and post them to article directories. EzineArticles.com is a good place because they have a high PR rank on google, so your articles should rank high in the search engines. |

I have, as many others, embarked on the traffic buying and from experience, will tell you ... it's a scam. The traffic never brings any conversions, and in case you were wondering I have bought multiple 2 million+ visitor packages from many sites with NO conversions, which is unheard of for my site. Stay far from these companies. Researching the sources of traffic I found them to either be software generated with/or traffic exchange traffic.
In addition, I have never successfully retained a refund for these packages of lame false traffic. Too good to be true. |
