Can a person make good money selling Avon products?

yes but you just have to make sure you are going to have enough clients that way you wont be using your own money

Don't be fooled by these types of companies. They do not pay you! You have to use your own money to purchase the booklets and samples! Then, you only make 10-20% off each product you sell. So, if you sell 100.00 in products you get maybe 10-20 dollars. Out of that comes 5.00 for the books, samples AND, .75 for each customer!! Yep, avon charges you for processing each customer.
Not only that, but reaching even 100.00 every campaign is DIFFICULT. AND THEN! then! people will order things and not pay for them. You get stuck with the product, or pay shipping to have it returned to the company.
So, there's no money in Avon.
What is is good for is taxes at the end of the year. You can file using all those business deductions.

Yes you can make good money selling Avon. Your success does depend on how much work you are willing to put into your business. For starters to succeed you need to make sure you don't buy more than you make or you'll end up in the hole. You won't make any extra money if you spend it all on your own Avon products. You need to let people know that you sell Avon any chance you get without sounding like a used car salesman. Put up flyers, knock on doors, leave brochures in doctors offices and other public places.

I've been selling Avon for a year now and have no intentions of leaving anytime soon. I've made Honor Society ($20,200 in sales for the year) and I'm a Unit Leader with a substantial downline. Avon is something that many people can find something they need and its a consumable product which has to be replaced eventually so you will get repeat business.

I wont say it sells itself but there are many people that love Avon. You just need to find them and you are one of them. True story....I had lunch the other day and wore my Avon button and had a brochure on the table and the waitress asked "who sells Avon?" She lost her rep some time ago and hadn't found anyone new. She ordered something on the spot and said she'll be ordering more. So by having lunch and being prepared I got a new customer.

I tell everyone who signs up all you need are brochures and some basic stationary supplies. To join locally only costs $10 or $20 online (the difference is the cost of shipping the starter kit to you). Its a small investment to give it a try. You don't need anything to sell Avon besides the brochures and some basic stationary supplies. The more brochures you purchase the less they cost.

In the first 4 campaigns (campaign=2 weeks) you get 50% commissions on Avon products. Licensed products such as watches, shoes, Disney and Curves etc only get a 20% commission. After that the % is based on your sales. If you go into leadership and sign other up to sell Avon you also get a commission on their sales as well as any that they sign up as well. So if you build up a large customer and downline network you can actually become one of Avon's rich and famous.

you might end up buying for yourself and wasting that money. if you know lots of people who willl buy from you, then go for it bc theres nothing to loose. just make sure people pay you bc my mom dealt with a lot of those people who didnt pay or payed like weeks later...its horrible, thats why she quit avon

Yes, but not really door to door. You need an established store at a busy mall.

You could if you know a lot of people who are interested in it...the problem I think would be finding customers who don't already have an avon lady.

Decent income perhaps providing you treat it as a real business and won't start with making a list of people you know, friends and family members, a moronic approach to business.

However, there are many other businesses involving direct sales where you will make many times more money for the same amount of effort.

Do your due diligence properly and should you decide to take an Avon challenge make sure you get sponsored and trained by a person who is with the company for at least 1 full year, preferably longer, and most of all who can show you her/his true income, after expenses, before taxes.

look selling is not small work . in shelling make resources , when resources shell u get roylity. find this kind of selling i can not explen in short , want to know more about roylity income get back to me as fast as possible...
