Can anybody help me with some ways to advertise my new website with not alot of money?

These directories are Page Rank 5 and above. Remember, its NOT only in the quantity of directories you submit your site to. Its in the QUALITY of directories you submit your site to.

Two suggestions. You have a nice line. Why don't you try to sell on ebay? I sell cars there and have a fair amount of luck (though I have a lot of problems with nonpayers)

Also, you can advertise for free on http://www.craigslist.org You can place as many ads in as many cities as you want, however the wording must be different in each ad

I also have an online business and I am always looking for low cost methods to advertise. There is always PPC, but that can be very costly, but you will get fast, targeted traffic.

If you are looking to get quick response and are on a budget, you can try the following:

You should also place fr*ee classified ads at Direct Matches and head over to Adland Pros, which is similar to Direct Matches.

You will find various categories where you can place your classified ads...just pick the ones that are the most suitable.

These are excellent online communities that are fr*ee to join and you can advertise your business or opportunity and get it in front of many eyes.

They also have a very good traffic exchange that you should join. Just read the instructions to join the traffic exchange.
This is another fr*ee method to increase traffic to your site.

The best traffic exchange is Traffic Swarm. ....traffic exchanges are very good to get your ads in front of many eyes. Just participate in the fr*ee exchanges. It is based on surfing the net and viewing other participating advertisers and you receive credits. The more credits you have, the more your ad is shown to the traffic exchange members.

Make sure to read the getting started section to activate your account properly.

Another excellent online community is Yuwie, which will allow you to blog and connect with a rapidly growing community of friends and enable you to get your name out there.

Go to forums, including the ones at Direct matches and Adland Pro. Post to forums...do not do blatant advertising or you will get banned. Set up a signature file and put you website there. Some forums have specific areas for fr*ee ads...use those, too.

Traffic Digger can bring you a huge amount of nearly effortless visitors to your site. Your ad will be on 7 levels of this page, being advertised by all the people who join after you...that can add up to 1,000,000's of people seeing your ad and clicking thru to visit your site!

You should also place classified ads at sites, such as www.Craigslist.com and www.backpage.com These are fr*ee to place ads. You can target a local market. Just make sure that you change the ads a bit if you are going to place more than one for different locations.

You can get directory submissions, blog postings, forum posting, articles written & submitted to directories & press releases written and submitted for next to nothing.

I just took a quick look, I saw 1,000 directory submissions for $15, social bookmarking to 30 websites for $3. . .

Just be sure to only do transactions with established members & you'll fare alright.

In all honesty some of these methods might not offer the best results and some of them won't be long-term results, but it's a start & it's much cheaper than hiring a consultant.

Also, don't spend money on "search engine submissions" or automated submissions to hundreds of thousands of directories - it's a waste of time & money.

When I ran an online retail store in 2004-2005, I used Froogle (now google products) & pricegrabber; especially during christmas I had a nice peak in sales. I had a small inventory (less than 300 items) with ok prices & sold 2-3 products a week through pricegrabber plus I gained exposure for my business.

go to my site and check out directory section. there you will see plenty of sites to advertise for free. post free ads as many as you can and do some tracking to see whether your visitors have any interest with your site when they've reached it.

Try typing in free business ads then visit the sites and see which are offering you the type of advertising you want ,that done you just post your ad.
Another option is to try a traffic exchange where you visit a site for a pecified time and get visitors to your site in return.
Here is one I use it is said to be one of the best, take a look and see if it helps.
