If they are published in the newspaper and/or posted on their website, you need to get their permission before copying and distributing the information.
It makes no difference if the story is about you or someone else.
It's considered copyright infringement otherwise and newspapers will prosecute. |

If you site specific quotes, you need to cite the source and mark it as being from the source.
If you utilize the entire article on the web, you need permission if it is a commercially operated entitiy. If it is non-commercial, association, non-profit, still a good idea to get permission in fact you may need to purchase a license.
However, many sites reference articles, copy them, etc.. And there is not an issue of payment, again problems arise when the source is not cited.
If you are reproducing the article in any format, especially print. You may need to buy rights to distribute it, check with the publisher. For many publishing companies this becomes a second source of income reproducing the aritcle for additional PR/Advertisement. |

I'm pretty sure you can. You need to give credit to the newspaper (i.e. write the name of the paper, and what date it was published) but otherwise I think there is no problem doing that. |

With permission you can do it.
Our local neighborhood group had a website and they posted articles from the local newspaper about zoning that affected our group. (They did not post the link, but the actual article). They were forced to remove them. The articles were copyrighted by the newspaper. |

This depends on your role in the company and the company's rules in posting. If you have the account for posting articles on your organization's site, then you probably may. Also, check first the guidelines before posting something. If nothing indicates such prohibition of posting about your organization, then go ahead. Overall, I think there is nothing wrong with the act.
