The best and most successful public speakers do one thing. They always go over their presentations while being video recorded. This way you can see your movements, gestures, eye contact and most of all, your voice volume level and inflections. You'd be surprised at how you look to yourself as others might see you.
Think about it, how you ever seen yourself on video or heard yourself on a tape recording and said; Gees, I don't look or sound like that? Trust me -- you do! Practice it and tape it just as though you were giving the presentation to your audience and ask someone or a few people to sit in on your practice and act as an audience! Good luck! |

Confidence is it. How do you gain confidence? My late Dad, a great speaker, gave me his trick. Before the presentation or speech, he'd look at the people in the room and think to himself "these lucky ba$tards are going to hear what I have to say for the next [ ] minutes." Assuming you've practiced, you'll be surprised at how little you refer to your notes after making that initial eye contact with your audience.
I went from sleepless nights before a presentation to looking forward to them.
Take your oral and written communication skills seriously. Those who get to the top have both. |

You must be confident!Dont show worries while presenting so that they will believe on what you are presenting. Review your grammar.Let someone else read your files that you will present to check if theres an error. Get the opinion of others. Dont be too nervous. Goodluck! and godbless:-) You can do it! |

Other answers are correct in being prepared, confident, etc., However, if you really want to stand out in this presentation get the others involved. It's almost like a sales call, only your selling your ideas instead of a product. If you can show them how doing it your way will... Make them money, Save them money, or increase productivity you should have a great presentation. The big bosses don't care about anything other than that. |

practice, practice, practice.
Try and figure out what questions can be asked, given your information. If you leave a gap in info, someone will ask about it. Also, there is usually at least one "what if" person in the audience.
