Well first off, be careful.....if you call someone that's on the Do Not Call list, you can be sued or fined.
That being said, my best advice to you would be to be clear, consice and try to speak to the person as a friend, rather than a salesman. |

I only call warm market leads. For cold calling, I need to know what you are selling. I used to cold call in the insurance business and said we owed them a calendar or a child ID kit but needed to know when they were home. If you are a telemarketer, don't speak fast. That is a dead give-away! I only call people who have asked me to call them. I am swamped! If you want to get your Life insurance license, pick me as best answer and put in the note how to contact you. Most make 60-75 thousand part-time their first year.I could use the help! |

match your voice to the person you're calling. For instance. If you're cold calling someone in the South.... talk a little slower. A soft spoken woman, speak softly. An aggressive guy, be confident and strong.
This really helped me big time when telemarketing years ago. |

i hate soliciters that call, seriouisly no disrespect, but theres nothing u could say to me over the phone that would make me want to buy something, i curse out people who cold call bc they always call when im eating dinner!
