Yeah, this is way to early to have Christmas merchandise out. It kind of takes the excitement away. By the time Christmas does come around we'll be tired of it already. |

This year I saw Christmas fabric at Walmart about 2 months ago, but I haven't seen any other merchandise out yet. Last year, I didn't see anything anywhere until mid-Sept at least.
I was surprised a couple summers ago though I was in Joann's and they had their entire Christmas display out before July 4th. When I worked in Joann's 10 yrs ago, we were not allowed to put a single Christmas item out until November 1 even though all the other stores in town had their stuff up for months already.
Doesn't bother me at all either way but I can see how can it can be annoying to some. |

I thinkit's WAY too early. Unless, of course, it's a craft store, where you HAVE to get things started early ( I walked into JoAnn Fabrics today, and their Thanksgiving is out- I almost vomited.) |

Well, in the retail world, Christmas stuff after labor day is fair game. I guess Costco is only a little bit early. |

Christmas is about nothing more than the almighty dollar to retailers, so... no, they're a month late. |
