bECAUSE i AM CURRENTLY SELLING AN ITEM ON YAHOO CLASSIFIEDS AND AFTER E-MAILING WITH THIS BUYER HERE IS WHAT HE SAYS:
I want you to get the Advert deleted from the Website.Concerning payment I have just called my Client now and he has said he will Issue out a cheque to your contact address in which you will remove the asking price $250 after cashing it at your Bank, Since it will be a cheque and an extra $50 for your running around and then send the balance to the shipper Via western union money transfer so that he will use for all his flight charges and for the insurance of the shipment when being shipped and also I would want you to do this for me because the shipper also has some other shipments to do for me in the states. I hope I can trust you on this? The information of the shipper will probably be sent alongside the check or when he is been assigned by his company. I will notify you if he has sent iT

This is a complete fraud. Anytime they are willing to give you extra for cashing their check and they want you to Western Union them the balance you know something is fishy.

You will find the check will be bogus. Even money orders and cashier's checks in these operations are faked and sometimes you don't find out until a week or so later when you bank finally determines the account is invalid and then they want their money back, even if they've already paid you and you've wired the money out via Western Union.

Typical e-mail fraud. I'd block them from my e-mail and not respond. Continue with your auction and see the item to a real person, not a scam artist.

I dont know if it is fraud but it sounds dodgy to me. They might ask you to do something else as well. I would just be a little careful.

Yes. You send real money and the cheque bounces later. Your bank comes after you. This is a very popular scam, btw.

Sounds like a fraud to me. A common scam is to send someone a check for more than the amount. You send the item and the change. The check is bogus. You are out the item and the extra money.
