I am intressted in your ideas.. Uniqu ideas would be wonderful because this is a uniqu business. It is Pure Romance. Home based partys for Ladys business. I am SO SO SO exited about doing this but I would really like some Feed back and Some Ideas on what would catch your attention. I dont have a lot of money to invest so I have to be creative!! Start with your list of personal contacts. Do not prejudge whether someone would be interested, just write them down.

Start contacting people and asking them to book parties. You will probably get several more parties as a result of the initial parties. Offer as many incentives (monetary and otherwise) that you can to fill those parties through the help of your hostesses.

Determine who needs to get the benefits the most and see if there are some local support groups that you can help and try to get introduced into there and/or offer to do speaking on the topic.

Get good at writing headlines to get people to raise their hand and identify that they'd like to learn more about solving their intimacy issues. Make up some flyers and offer free info on what you do in your shows and some of the incentives offered to host a show.

Contact people that are natural connectors: realtors, OBGYN, boutique owners, etc. and try to get them to introduce you to their clients through a mailing or in store/office. Try to offer some incentive.

Good luck with a sensitive topic.

I found that door hangers are the best way of getting right to the ppl you want, you can make them on Ur computer and print them up...and start right near your house then go to some Lady's only places and car hang, just get the word out and you'll do fine..

Look into advertising using promotional products.

They are an awesome medium to ad to your advertising mix and can be really inexpensive.

As someone else mentioned, consider temporary tatoos with your business name on them. Now that's advertisement!

Any chance of elaborating on the business, sorry but I can't understand exactly what kind of business you are starting.
You said ladies parties, well..... one thing comes to mind if pure romance and that is selling sexy items and toys....correct?

I think making flyers and placing them on doors or cars would be a good idea. Just be careful to get the permission of where ever you decide to put the flyers (i.e. Wal Mart, the Mall, whatever..) Because if people throw the flyers on the ground, you can be fined for littering.

If you have a limited budget consider a cross promotion with another merchant in a related field. For example, we owned a video store up until about a year ago. We sat down with the owner of the local pizza place and decide that we would put coupons/menu's from his store in our movie boxes in exchange for him gluing our flyer to the top of his pizza boxes. We each split the cost of flyers and it worked out great.

For something that is "pure romance" you might try local florists in your area or get someone who is involved in throwing those candle parties my wife is always getting invited to.
