My parents are in their mid sixties and they use it all the time. I also have some older relatives who use it frequently. Don't really know anyone in their 80's who use it. But, I am sure there are some out there. |

Yes they do, in fact they have more leisure time than the young ones. And its very easy to use a computer and they interact with the distant friends and relatives, and for on line shopping, and for entertainment and knowledge. |

yeah... i see older people in chat rooms all the time.. if you are willing to learn the internet, then there isn't any reason that you shouldn't be able to... I am sure there are even classes you can take to learn to better navigate the sites that would be of interest to people in your age group... |

Some of the older people I know do. They use it for online bill paying, shopping, sending emails and use the web cam to talk with other relatives. Whether it is widely used is another question.
