Do sellers sell things they stole on ebay?
I was just searching nintendo wii on ebay to see how cheap some sellers can be... alot of the systems are $10 and less...
or do some just wanna sell to users who normally can't afford it?
however, what is probably going on is they set a lot starting price so a lot of people will bid on it to get the price up. there is probably a reserve (a minimum price you need to win the item) so they don't lose money.

Lost of stolen stuff on ebay , unfortunately it's easy to track the person who sold it. Pawn shops are better. as far as your comment, those are just the starting bids or highest bid at the time you looked many have a hidden reserve price which until met means they don't have to sell it to the guy who bid $10

Most if not all reputable sellers would never sell stolen merchandise.
But to answer the question, it does happen.

bidding usually starts at a low price. in the last few minutes that the auctuion is going to end, prices rocket!.
also note the postage costs. and some devious sellers sell things like that and it's information on how to get a free one, or just a empty box.

$10.00 ? Can mean many things .
1. stolen
2.starting bid
3. it`s broke
i say it`s the starting bid!
SlapChop Ur gonna love my nuts
yeah well wait until you get to the end of the auction... they get up to $400 plus.. just because they start at $10 doesn't mean it will sell for $10...

I would stay away from that ... You would probably never get your system.
Are you sure they weren't selling a component instead of the system?

You need to make sure you check the shipping rate since alot of seller just put the real cost of the item in the shipping to get more sells. Also keep in mind that the price you see is only a starting bid not the final cost. Most bidding takes place in the last few minutes of the auctions. You can see what things are REALLY selling for if you choose "advanced search" (to the right of the search bar) and check the "completed items" box. But agian make sure you look at shipping charges to see the full cost to you.
