Sometimes they do me. In particular, I hate the ones where they show a person using the other guys product and it is so inadequate that the person is klutzing around, may hurt themselves, and finally throws their hands up in despair, shakes their frowny faced head into the camera and the voiceover guy says something like..."Wouldn't it be nice if there was a better way?"
Anyway, that's my complaint, what does it take for an ad to turn you OFF their product? |

Those bother me too, but the one that bothered me the most was a McDonalds commercial where the woman was losing it because she hadn't had a snack and she was looking at this regular decscent looking guy like he was gods gift to women, but she sopposedly came to her sences when she got the McDonals wrap. I thought it was insulting ...they were saying that this guy was a total loser and they portrayed him as disgusting. It was stupid. |

All of them insult me. The ones I really hate are the food ads I have yet to get an order of food that looks like it does on tv. I also hate the ones where the guy starts talking very loud you have to turn down the sound. |

man... have you seen those "head on" commercials? soooo stupid.... i "head-on apply directly to your forehead"
sure I'll always remember the brand (as i do with eagleman insurance....ewww) but i hate the commercial so much I told myself I would never ever buy it (this is beside the fact that there is no evidence that this stuff works in the first place) |

I agree! A lot of TV ads are extremely annoying!
I have 2 types in particular that make me grab the remote
Type 1: TV ads like an insurance company for example will have it look like the people in their ad have the most beautiful perfect life....sun shining, happy faces, and them in their backyard as the camera does a slow motion effect while they are twirling around in circles, hands in the air. Would seem as though they don't have a care in the world. Life isn't like that at all times..........but hey, the insurance company would like you to believe that if you go through them for insurance, your life will be "perfect"
Type 2: The most annoying commercials are those that plaster "fake" women all over the screen in skimpy or rather trashy attire, a lot of times close to naked. I have 2 small children, and it kind of offends me when they happen to be in the room when one of these commercials pop up and surprise you. I know that you can monitor what your children watch, but what do you do when you can't control the commercials that come on?
