You can never assume that everyone out their has your best interests in mind. It's better to be cautious then to get ripped off. I usually research before buying a product that I am not sure of. |

There is governance in advertising. But one shouldn't assume that the product or service will be everything you expect. The cosmetic industry and the car biz are a prime examples...there is no product that that will erase those wrinkles, or a sports car that will make you look younger and get beautiful women.Let the buyer beware. |

You are very naive if you do! Advertisers have one thing in mind -- to persuade you to purchase their product. If they can do it by convincing you that this is something that is going to have a positive effect on your life, then they've scored big points in the retailing game. But the need is all on their side.
