im talking about google adsense.
i know you get money for when they click your ads but do you get money for when you make an impression?
if you do would i get double the money then if i put 2 ads instead of one then?
You can earn money boths ways : when someone clicks on an ad, AND for every time a page is loaded.

No. You don't get any money for ad impressions, even if in your Google Adsense shows. The ad impressions only help Google Adsense to calculate the earnings you get, depending on your click rate and ad impressions.

Google Adsense started only as a pure pay per click contextual advertising model where you as the publisher get paid only for the ads that are clicked on your site.

Google Adsense now offers a number of ways to earn money, giving the advertisers in their Google Adwords program the option of showing CPM ads. You are allowed per page:
- up to 3 ad units
- 1 ad link unit
- 1 search box
If all your 3 ads are CPM then you can potentially get more. Note though that CPM ads are paid for every 1,000 impressions only

No, you do not get paid per impression, just when someone clicks on an adsense ad on your website.
According to Google's policies, you are allowed up to 3 ad units per page +1 link unit per page. So yes, you can have multiple ad units per page.
