THEY ARE A BIG RIP OFF BECAUSE THEY ARE INCREASING THEIR FEE FOR EVERYTHING AND THEY TRY TO HIDE THEM IN THE SMALLEST WAYS...AND NOW I HEAR IN THE NEWS THAT THEY ARE TAKING A PERCENTAGE OF WHAT YOU EARN BY USING THEIR SITE!!

fifth_new_id_for_me
I think they are way to greedy thats why I stopped using it. Why should I sell my stuff for their profit dirt cheap? The last time I bought something there I got it at a good price. the seller didn't want to sell after the auction was over and didn't set a reserve, They just said they didn't want to sell at that price and ebay didn't enforce the sale f u c k Ebay!

It's not a "rip-off" if you are actually selling something of worth. If you are selling 30 cent pens in individual auctions then it's not worth it. Now if you are selling everything you obtained in a house clean out then it's definately worth it. Try selling all your garbage in the newspaper instead of eBay and see which is the bigger rip off.

Ebay (nationally known and reputable) fees are rather realistic if you've ever considered the price of a storefront business and the utilities and advertising costs and the overhead to keep it open 24/7.
