definately more than they used to. But the celebs which are style icons all dress expensively...
you cant go and buy a pair of jeans for less that £50 these days and, they are just a high street brand. Designer jeasn like armani are like £120-£200. |

No, because most girls can't afford designer clothing. They can afford similar items at expensive stores, but not actual Gucci brand items. They can buy knock offs though. I think the bigger problem is the amount of time girls spend dwelling on dating and sex. |

I think that they are....and sometimes the stuff they are buying isn't really good quality, they are just paying for the label. I actually hate wearing clothes with a prominent label ( it's kind of tacky). I just like wearing nice looking clothes, that are made well ( and price is not always the best way to get well-made clothing) |

Yes but maybe you should look at why-Who do guys always seem to run to-the most popular and best dressed, wearing these kind of clothes boost a girls self confidence. They get it from TV because who do they want to look like? A star, and what does a star where? designer clothes! |

Yes! Their parents are! On clothing, shoes, accessories - makeup, cell phones & those accessories as well in downloads, ringtones..screensavers, is there no end?
The cell phone has become more of a fashion statement than actual necessity, imo. |

NO! Most teens don't buy exspensive clothes. Thier parents do. I have two daughters, and they need money every couple hours. But not for clothes. I have to buy that too. Plus child Support. |
