I made my own flowers for myself, brides maids, flower girl and grooms men. Everyone keeps telling me that I should do it for a living. It only took me about 4 days to do all of the flowers so, the turn around is quick. (4 bouquets, 1 flower girl, 5 corsages)
Any Advise? |

Did you enjoy doing this, or did you view it as a hassle and a pain in the butt?? ask yourself this question first. Now if you enjoyed doing this and could see yourself doing this full time, I would definitely say this is a great business idea especially if you can save people money. Because If you LOVE doing this it is not a business/work, it is your passion which makes it fun. But if not, then it is regular work again and like most jobs people dont like, you may tire of it. hope this helps |

Good for you if this is what you want to do. One thing to consider: ever seen "Bridezilla"? Be prepared for nice brides and horrible ones too. Any industry to do with weddings have very high stress levels. For instance, many hairdressers refused to do wedding parties.

if you really enjoy doing it, go for it. you can start from there and probably expand to opening up a flower shop; or going big by becoming a wedding planner who offers everything from flowers to tokens, etc.; and finally expand to corporate give-aways or supply/design advertising promotional items. good luck and enjoy !! |
