Aye, but no....all you can do is avoid it as much as possible. watching t.v. is probably the best way to expose yourself to ad's. so best limit t.v. viewing....and to bbc...? all i really know is since seein a gorilla drummin to a phill collins track, with a purple background,on the t.v. - i've been eating loads more chocolate wrapped in purple foil from a certain choc company(and the big blocks too)....Derren Brown does interesting experiment with 2 ad exec's a wee while back. |

Yes - I only buy what I want when I want it - rather than reading or listening to adverts I seek out reviews on items.
I am rarely swayed BY an advert unless the research I have done indicates it is the thing I am looking for.
