Well, the advertisers obviously think so. Personally, i dont know who half the 'celebrities' are, probably as i watch very little TV. I can honestly say a celebrity advertising a product would not affect my buying decisions a single iota. I am fully aware that they are paid to advertise the product and many probably do not even use the product themselves. But then i am a cynical so and so. Perhaps the impressionable or gullible would be influenced though. |

To me, the adverts are only interesting if I need the product. Some products are so badly advertised, it'd put me off buying them even if I needed them - with or without celebrities. |

no, besdies, in the end if the product is genuine and creative it should sell on its own. celebrities are just people endorsing it and hypnotizing their fans into buying them and also wanting to show the public they're "regular" people using everyday common quick solvers. |

I suppose that overall it must work, or the advertisers wouldn't pay the extra for the celebrity, but as far as I'm aware I'm not influenced by them, I only take notice of weather the product is something I could do with or not, doesn't matter who's in the advert, I often don't know who they are anyway, :) :) |
