The topic is important.. let me explain .. I have a real estate related site making more money with 400 unique hits a day than my other site(news site) which is getting 5000 hits a day..
I recommend Yahoo Publishers... You can make much more than adsense...
$60 per 1,000 hits sounds too much...It should be unique visitor

There are several option you can pursue to turn audience traffic into ad revenue.
1) participate in google's ad sense program where you run contextually relevant terms on your site.
2) become part of an affiliate network like linkshare and/or commission junction where you receive a percentage of revenue generated via people clicking on your ads
3) try to become part of an ad network like advertising.com and/or tribal fusion where they will sell your inventory as part of a network
4) grow your audience so that you can employ your own sales force, but you would have to deliver far more than 4,000 "hits" a day to make that work. I suggest you try out options 1,2 and 3. |

That many hits a day you should have an adsense component on there. Go to adsense in my profile for more information. Its all free to join and do. All you need is for those visitors to click on your ads. If you get 10% click through rate you could earn quite a bit of money. 4k is not enough to sell ad space. You really need a page rank of six and above for that. |
