The quick and easy way to market your site is by using paid promotion (Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, etc). You should be aware, however, that this will probably not be very effective for you. Most SEO/SEM is designed for reaching the consumer market - you almost never hear of a corporate account being landed via the search engines.
To most effectively reach the B-to-B market, you would do much better by joining your local Chamber of Commerce and meeting other business owners in your area. The vast majority of business accounts are landed in the face-to-face.

You have to optimize your site for the search engines to move up on the list. Heres a whole site about it: http://www.seochat.com/
You could also pay a lot of money to be number one on the list. Which I have learned are generally skipped over anyways.
Also try to make partners with other high traffic sites so u can stick a banner somewhere.
For example, if someone clicks your banner on their site and you get a job from that visitor- you can offer a kick back to that initial site. |
