There are several sites. Do not give anyone your SSN there are lots of sites out there that are legit and they do not need this info from you. Nor do you have to pay to join. I am a member of several. The one I have had the most luck with is Lightspeed. They do not pay you cash you get points which can be converted into cash via pay pal. However, they send me the most surveys. And already twice now I have been asked to participate in a more extensive survey in which I was sent a palm pilot in the mail and asked to record certain daily activities. The ones I have completed offered a $50 incentive and that was in the form of a check in addition to the points I received for completing the initial survey. I have also done survey savy which has a great referral program if you know people who will join you get money for surveys they complete. I have also tried American Consumer Opinion. They pay by check in mail for all surveys, but I have not been able to complete many of their surveys. I did a lot of research before joining these three. You also need to be a regular email checker because if you don't respond to the survey fast enough they have met their quota. I am pleased with these sites and looking to join some new ones.
Most pay a few dollars per survey completed so it is best to use several. If you would like to give me a referral credit use the link in my profile for survey savvy and the other websites are listed there as well. Good luck! |

Please don't think you are going to make lots of money doing surveys.... ones you pay to join are no better than ones you can join for free. Most cases I found was that I would get half way through or to the end of a survey to find out I wasn't qualified... If making $20 a month or so is adequate for hours on end completing surveys... go for it...
Keep going in this direction and you are going to spend a lot of time, Money and effort... with no rewards.. Just a piece of advice.... unless you are joining a business opportunity company ... DON'T send money... and UNLESS you can actually talk to someone before joining .... DON'T join.
I wrote a blog on advice on working from home... you are welcome to read it and will find a link to it on my profile in the second paragraph... no companies are mentioned, there are no affiliate links and I am NOT trying to sell you or anyone else anything....
If it sounds too good to be true...... you've heard the ending...
~best wishes

There are plenty of online survey websites out there that are legitimate - you just have to be careful.
Some websites will pay you in the form of points first, which are then redeemable for cash. GlobalTestMarket, for example, has a defined point value of $0.05 US, and their surveys usually award a couple hundred of their "Market Points" per completion. There are many websites like this that deal in their own "currency" rather than cash. This is mainly due to the fact that so many of their panelists are international.
Before you join any survey website who promises cash rewards or otherwise, you need to do some homework;
1. Make a list of the survey websites you are interested in joining
2. Check out their privacy policies so you understand how they use your personal information
3. See if there's a 'contact' page in case something goes wrong
4. Set up a new e-mail address and sign up!
The world of online surveys seems intimidating to most because there is so much garbage and spam out there. But if you do your research, and follow the steps above, you shouldn't have any major problems. |

www.surveyspot.com
I have been a member for over 2 years. Fill out the surveys I care about/have time for, ignore the rest.
They have never sold my email address (so didn't end up with a ton of spam), I get to in home test new products (a couple times a year), and when I try can make an extra $10 - $50 a month. I have done testing for Colgate, Always, Dove and other national companies.
Most of the others that I've tried, especially the ones that say, make $1000 a month, are crap and I end up on every spammers email list in the world. Maybe the other answerer has a legitimate site, maybe not. |

Pinecone pays at least $5.00 a survey if you can find an ad linking to them |

I was going to say surveyspot as well! Easy surveys, tons of them, no spam, 1-5 dollars per survey usually, some in home testing... nice site. I love them!!! |
