Does anyone know how to get quality targeted traffic to a website?

Ok so basically i need a good way to send traffic to my site fast. I need targeted traffic too not any of that autosurf random traffic does anyone have any suggestions??

You can try Google Adwords. Itâ€™s the most effective and targeted way of Advertising. Although it can be expensive but I know 1 Person here on Yahoo answers who is giving 1000$ of adwords coupons for 25$.

You can also try free classified advertising.

I don't think there's an easy way other than expensive advertising, and I assume you are not looking to hire a p.r. firm or you would have done so already. However, I tried these things with some success:
1. I put my web address on my signature every time I posted in a forum related to my (musical) web page
2. I wrote articles for other people's blogs, and got them to include my address as a link. I got a lot of hits from that.
3. I attached a blog to my web page, and updated it with the story of my music. I also included reviews of other music, so that names of famous people showed up in searches.
4. I put tags hidden in the coding of my page that would show up on searches.
5. I put an ad for a real estate company on my page and in return they boosted my page in web searches.
6. You can advertise in Google so your page comes up as a sponsored hit when people do certain searches. It can be cheap, because you pay for as many hits as you want, but it probably costs a bit to make a difference. I looked into this, but didn't do it (stingy).

Most of my targeted traffic comes from the backlinks I have on websites that are similar to my niche. I found a lot of other sites in my niche to exchange links with through onefreelink.com. Feel free to check them out. Look on their "submit my link" page for this information.
