There are a lot of ways to drive traffic online... One way is to create articles, blogs, websites about mary kay and ask people to contact you... You can create simple websites, drive traffic from Google Adwords(pay for each click you generate) and also create videos to promote your website and business...
A lot of ways to do it... Articles is FREE and works VERY well...
You just need to know what and how to write... or get someone to do it for you (recommended)!

freewebs is a great site to create a website for your business. as the name suggests, it is free.

on this site you can choose one of the ready made templates and edit the text, add photos, videos and other cool things. there are also widgets if you know what those are and there is glitter text. you can also make polls and there are page counters.
it is completely free and it is not a limited 30 day account or whatever. the only thing that is limited is the number of pages you are allowed. the maximum is 20.
all you have to do is give an email address so that you can receive news like if anyone has visited your website or if someone signs the guestbook, and a username and password, you also get to choose your own url which is the name people type in thier address bar to get to your site.
of course you can also choose the html option where you code everything yourself. javascript, css and html is allowed.
but if you do not have extensive knowledge of coding then i suggest using the basic version, it is much simpler to use and the templates look quite nice anyway.

well in that case, if you already have a website and want to advertise it, i suggest the following...
- make videos such as how to properly apply lipstick for instance and post this on youtube. because people are always looking at these sotrs of things, put your website address on the video, and maybe mention it in the video aswell. u can also post a link to your website many times underneath the video so it will grab people's attention, and they are more likely to click on it.
- go on makeup and beauty websites. if they have a guestbook or comment page, post the address there.
- any accounts you may have, for example, yahoo, wikihow, freewebs... etc. post the address in your description.
- make flyers and print these out to put in people's letterboxes. make these nice and colourful so they will grab peoples attention.
- if you have msn messenger, put the address in your msn name or personal message. people are always going on msn and if they see the address there, they are more likely to click on it because they actually know you and they know that the website wont transffer viruses to thier computer.
- tell your friends. then they will tell thier friends, then those friends will tell thier friends... and it sort of snowballs from there.
most importantly, make the website interesting, and make sure the graphics are good and dont look cheap. if you really want to get traffic to your site, then i strongly suggest hiring a website designer.

Before even venturing into setting up your own Mary Kay website, you should first review your distributor agreement which clearly states that you cannot set such an enterprise without written permission from Mary Kay, Inc. I believe that the parent Mary Kay does not want revenues to enter from derivative websites.
