It is fairly, easy. I just started myself a few months ago.
When you sell, you can choose your method of payment, I prefer Paypal.
Ebay will charge you a minimal fee to post your item and then another when it is sold.
Paypal will also charge you but you will get paid much quicker.
I personally do not use their shipping labels, I have done it on my own. Either First Class USPS or Priority Mail
The shipping is a little hard to get used to, but you will.
You can go directly to the site to try and figure out your shipping cost.

I sell on Ebay. I accept paypal payments only. u list you items with or w/out pics through step by step tutorial if u will. the cost per listing is based on how much ur item cost as well as the way u want it listed.. no of pics, by line, ect. you then select how many days u want to run ur auction, or if u want Buy Now option and ur starting bid price and the cost of handling and shipping as well as a full description of the item ans ur terms of sale. at the end of the auction, the highest bidder wins. i usually set a reserve price so as not to risk my items going at dirt cheap prices. u will be prompted to send the winning bidder an invoice and they pay u via paypal. you then go to paypal and print ur shippping label and mail the item off . paypayl immediately takes a % of sale, then ebay bills u for the listing and a % of sale on a monthly basis. it is important u establish a paypal acct as u can get a paypal debit card to have easy and immidiate access to ur money. hope this helps

I have been using ebay for several years and I love it.

I think its safe. As safe as online purchasing can be.

You list your item online for a small fee, and they can either mail you the payment or go through paypal.com (I suggest the second option) DO NOT SEND the product until you've recieved your money. Then you just take the item to the post office and mail it to the address they've provided during payment. It's pretty simple. Ebay's website has pretty thourough directions!

Goodluck and Happy Bidding :)

In general eBay is pretty safe. You just need to learn a few rules of the game first.

I'd suggest jumping right in. Just start an account on eBay, and they have some quick how-to guides about getting started.

In order to sell things you'll probably want to set up a Pay Pal account, but you don't have to. But you will need to give eBay your bank account information if you want to sell stuff. They'll guide you through selling stuff on there.

go ahead, just explore it -

The same to ebay. You must register at first. After that you must upload your products' picture and attach description. You can get money from remittance and so on.you choose some express delivery companies for sending it.

i dont sold anything but i bought a lot of stuff from there, from customer view i guarantee its safeness.
i think its payment system works like that: you win an auction, then you pay through paypal (the money you send does not go directly to seller, it goes to moneypool), then paypal informs the seller that customer paid the money so he can send the item. when customer receives it, he sends feedback to ebay. if the feedback is + then ebay gives the money to seller.

Ebay is almost always safe for a seller. Just dont send anything to anybody until you are payed through your paypal account. Its usually safe for buyers but once in awhile you will have con artists selling on there. People in other countries will set up an account for 1 day, they will put 300 laptops up for sale for ridiculously low prices so people will buy them the same day. Then they will never ship anything to the customers and take their money and ebay and the usa government cant do anything about it because some countries (like indonesia) are non extraditable. These people can become millionaires in 1 day scamming people. Sometimes stupid americans will do the same thing. I purchased a headlight for my car for about $120.00 from a man in mississippi. He never shipped the item and kept sending me excuses in emails (just to delay things so it would be too late to report him when I finally realize). If you are ripped off and you wait too long to escalate a paypal claim (I think its 30 days) then there is nothing you can do about it. I reported the guy to paypal and told them he ripped me off and they investigated and went into his paypal account and gave me back about $80.00. They couldnt recover all of it because thats all that was left in his paypal account. I looked at the guys feedback on ebay and he had about 10 other people who complained and left negative feedback, but he made his feedback private so I couldnt see what they said about him. Ebay is usually safe, but once in a while you might come across some crooks. Just be careful when buying from new ebay members, ebay members with very little feedback, or ebay members with alot of negative feedbacks.
