It's really easy, just go into your acct and do the sell item, and then you pick your category, make a title, give it a price, pics, descriptions etc and there ya have it... they walk you through it...
most important is get the title right, it's item specific search not general ... like if you are selling a pair of Nike's you don't say used shoes you'd say Nike Shox 10 Men's running shoes white very specific do you see? and take good pics

I'm agreeing with the other answers. I have been an eBayer for a long time now. What you have to do it sign up and sign in. Regardless of where you are you should see a list if actions at the top right hand corner of the screen. Click "sell" and type in a title. Next it will take you to where you complete the whole description. Be very specific with tthe title, like she said. And make sure you spell correctly. Like, if you're selling clothing from Hollister don't spell it "Holister" or else no one who spells it correctly will be able to find your item. Also, take very good pics. Before you start your listing, be sure to research the items to see if there is a market for what you have. Everything that is valuable to you is not to everyone.
Take good photos, because you will have to answer less questions if your pics are good.
Take measurements and list them if possible, you will have less questions with many details in listing.
Be sure to calculate shipping properly. When I started, I wasn't charging enough for shipping, and when I overcharged, I sent the change back. That stopped quickly. |

You first have to sign up on ebay and you get your own shop. search around for similar items on ebay to see how much is the price range for such an item. this way, you won't have a too cheap initial bid or a too expensive one. then take photos of the items you want to sell and post them on your shop. make a detailed description of your items and how you want the exchange to be done with the winning bidder. you should also answer questions from other ebay members promptly. |
