I like to have them end on Sunday evening, so I do either a 3-day auction on Thursday, or a 5-day on Tuesday. I figure more people are home and available to put in those last-minute bids on Sunday night. |

friday at about 5pm, it's the week end and most people are not at work, and i do it in the afternoon because of time differences around the world |

List and item so that it will close at a suiatble time for adults (After the kids go to bed) and a suitable day. for me, weekdays are usually more successfull, as on weekends and fridays, people are usually out etc. Try something like 9:00 on a Monday, or something like that. |

7 day listing starting at about 5pm'ish on a Sunday so you have a whole week which lands on the next Sunday, which is the most vulnerable day for ending bids. |

I usually list on the weekend that way it gets seen two weekends on a seven day deal |

Ending on Sunday works for most sell items that are focused for working adults; 3day or 5day sale. But, you need to know you target buyer. Games, like Xbox, Wii or electronics that 20 years of age would buy can go anytime. This age group has more time for research and items they want go fast. Remember though people who are home during the week have more time for eBay research for items costing more money or that are family oriented. Strangely, this group want items that end on Friday. |

i prefer to list Sundays and use the 7 day listing, I also try and end it after the sports games are over on sunday. |

The best day to list is Friday or sat, that way it gives you time to get your item prepared and receive your money rite away. and the best time to list is at mid-day 12:00 more people will go after your item seeming that more people buy things after mid-day. |

The listing day is irrelevant.
The END day and time is the important factor. |

it doesn't matter. probably on a tuesday (5 day) or sunday (7 day) so that the listing ENDS on a sunday.. you'll get the people looking on a sat or sunday.. most people only search 'ending soonest' and then look a day or two ahead.. if it's something that isn't very popular, you can sell it any day, between 8-10pm eastern time (so you get both the coasts after work) |
