You can link directly to the merchant at as long as you are the only one using that domain name in any search result.

If there is another person promoting the same url, then the highest bidder gets their ad shown.

You can try placement targeting in Adwords Content Network by choosing CPM.

With CPM in content network, you pay per thousand impression and you ads will be the only one showing thus direct linking is not a problem.

It is best to have your own webpage as a landing page because you can install tracking to see what is the data after the click on adwords ads.

Also, with your own page, you can harness email by opt-in form so that you can market to them again in the future.

You need not have a website for affiliate marketing in Google Adwords, you can add the affiliate link in the URL Section and then the website name in the Display URL Section.

You must have your own webpage. Google checks your page before they send out checks to make sure it's not an adult website or something that is against their rules.

Hi Brohit,
Its necessary to have your own domain name and you park it then you have the google adwords if you are not ready to build your own website.So its not neccessary to have your own web pages.
