hey dude,
you can advertise ur restaurant where ever you go...
simple ways of advertising n making ppl knw abt it is, make flyers i mean print in some papers abt your specialty of your restaurant and distribute them where u see lots of crowd like the railway station bus stops, u can paste these on the walls or else put them inside the newspapers (for this u have to make frndz with the person distributing the newspapers to ppl homes) or else u can also put the flyers on the glass window of the car...
all these solutions work out...try it u will get the results within no time.
cheers,

I don't know where you're from but craigslist.org covers all of the US and many foreign countries. It is free. Internationally they have over 1 billion visitors a month. I have good results. Go to http://boston.craigslist.org and find your city/country on the right column, find the right catigory, and follow the instructions to place an ad.
Good luck. I hope your restautant does well. |

What is your target audience?
Maybe you can consider giving out flyers to people in their mailboxes?
Also, if you know of any programmes or channels on TV which may help to publicise your restaurant and food for free, go on and try to ask them. |

Give gift certificates to the type of people you would want as customers. Hand them out at offices, and outside businesses which you are not with in direct competition (coffee shops, jewelry stores).
EDIT: Your own T-shirt, or, if you have a car, you can put a sign on the side of it.
These are only my ideas off the top of my head to get out the word for free about your new restaurant.
In my area, there are Free Ad Papers that are given out to the public, but the businesses that advertise in them pay to have their ads printed; they are most likely the most affordable way for a small business to advertise.
But I stick by my original advice: Advertise to the people who have the money to spend in your place of business. |

There isn't really any truly 'free' way to advertise I don't believe. Some inexpensive ways are out there though, like mailing out menus, sponsoring events/teams, and putting coupons on the back of receipts from the grocery store. |

Try this FREE place,
http//www.createinfo.com
They don't make you put a link to their site on your website!
Plus they place real ads, NOT classifieds.
Thank you |
