my boss made me an offer to pay me x amount for every website I design for him in my EXTRA time (at night at home)! This amount is not included in my salary. he also told me that the only bad thing about it is that he can only pay me once he has been payed! I accepted his offer and have done 4 websites in the past 2 to 3 months. I have not been payed for ANY of those. If I ask him about it, he only tells me that he hasn't been payed yet. all fair because I was prepared that something like that can happen. BUT...I'm beginning to get really fed up. I am the only graphic designer to design a 40 page magazine as well as do the layout. in some cases there is 8 ads I have to design for every 1 page of the mag. I'm really working my but off and my salary is not good at all. I struggle getting through a month financially. anyway. some nights I work untill 12h00 at home without getting payed over time. now, i also have to design extra stuff for his new partnership business. as well as for business cards, vehicle branding, posters, ect. in which he gets all the money for my hard work, i don't even get 1 cent!! what am I soppose to do? we are closing the 12th of December and I was bargaining on a bonus for the holidays but now we won't get any. I'm also hoping that he will pay me for the website before the end of the week so I do have a little more extra cash, but I am possitively sure that he won't!! please give me some advice. I know that his company is zero without me, coz I've got many compliment about my work. but he doesn't seem to pay me for what i'm worth.
