I know exactly what you mean. I see the cashcrate guy has been here already. I wish that guy would go away. Imagine spending your whole day spamming people with survey crap. Dont that guy do anything else? He should learn more about marketing.
Enough with my rant. Yea, you can make money but it is difficult and takes a lot of understanding though. I use Clickbank.com along with google adwords to carve out a good side income. There are a lot of people raking in the bucks as I know a few personally who do over $200,000 per year. It has taken me 3 years to make money and now I do about $3000 per month with adwords and another $1500 per month with google adsense.
I too suggest getting some books to read. You will get nowhere for free. If you think this is a free ride, you are wrong. It will take a good amount of time and an investment. So, the answer is yes but it cost you no matter what anyone else will say. i do it for a living. |

Honestly....I am just learning about adwords myself. My recomendation is to go to AMAZON.com type in Google Adwords and look at the books there...and look at the most RECENT dates...and there honest ratings of that book....this way you can do it yourself and not buy into others oppionions ? Just a thought :) I am doing about the same thing you are probably...good luck! |

Our company has used google adwords. It does work if you get the right keywords. That's the key! Try to put yourself in your typical customer's shoes and use key phrases that your typical customer would use to find your business. Also, make sure you budget correctly. For example, it wouldn't make much sense for you to pay $1.50 per click, if the product you're selling is $1.00. You'll only lose money. Budget wisely. |

Yes I have had success. I make about $3600 a month online right now. I am still learning.
Adwords is tough. It's expensive to get the visibility but the traffic tends to be very targeted. I think you should have well-writtend and well-tested copy before you start spending money.
To be honest with you, you'll never learn what you need to from free information. I am going to recommend one product to you that is only $19.95 and it covers adwords and everything else about making money online. It is legit. I just bought it and added it to my collection today...it really is good material. Plus, it's the most bang for the buck I've seen since I've been marketing.
I am in no way affiliated with this product and it's not mine. Hell, he shows you his bank account...that aint mine...mine's much smaller. But anyways it's good stuff. You'll learn everything you need to and it's cheap as hell for as much stuff as you get.
