Be careful, most people when they talk about getting Adwords for free are talking about arbitrage. Stay away from arbitrage:

If you think AdWords is too expensive, here are two things you can do:
a) Use AdWords but focus ONLY on long tail keywords - this will mean less traffic but cheaper clicks and higher conversions
b) Get free traffic:
- write articles
- blog
- participate in forums
- or SEO your site.
The trade off here is time x money. All the above tactics are free but waste a lot of time. |

Heres a suggestion if you wanted wait a while
The Google Online Marketing Challenge, basically university students get $200 to run an adwords campaign for a small business of their choice. I just particpated in it and it will run again next year. So you could contact your local university marketing department and ask to participate but it wont start till next year and you dont get to do it the students will.

I think if you have a small business there are other ways to earn with out spending money.
You could promote other peoples goods in your website , as well as your own.
You could join free sites that have Marketing Software for you to use , in this case you may earn referral fees,whilst promoting your own site at the same time.
I have found that what ever we seem to need on the Internet , it is there for us.
Often If you type what you are searching for in the Yahoo search bar , you will get a host of URLs , Read through them and often , one site will lead to another way that is there for you to earn
I try not to pay out money , I want it coming in

Also Free advertising goes hand in hand with your success with sign ups and success.
There are a lot of places you can join for free and get Tutorials, advice , and help.
When you have a small business and are searching to earn, It is hard to pay out to all the requests and offers that come your way.
