Has anyone recieved what amounts to a chain e-mail in to advertise M & S?
I have received a chain e-mail saying that if I send the e-mail on to 8 or more people I will receive M & S vouchers.It implies that if I send the e-mail on to 8 people I will get £100 vouchers and £500 if I send it on to 20 people. This seems far to good to be true and if it is simple maths shows that if would be very very expensive if everyone sent 20 e-mails.
So is this for real. I very much doubt it. If it isn't where has it originated. This is the first time I have come across a chain e-mail. Has anyone else ever had one. Additional Details Thanks everyone. I had absolutely no intention of passing this on to anyone and have contacted M & S who confirmed it is not for real. This is the first time I have had a chain e-mail letter. I can remember the days when chain letters were everywhere (the postal kind) but they were just binned just as this e-mail one will be deleted.

This is a known scam - doing the rounds now ,particularly around company and council email accounts.
its a pyramid scheme - delete any email you have - you will not make any money out of it - it has nothing to do with M & S

no they do not work. They are generally a scam to get a virus to a significant number of computers in a short amount of time by have you do the work for them. Also if it ever asks you for banking information run away as fast as you can or you may find your bank account drained
