I'm referring to those cheesy knife commercials and these kind of things... There is often an 800 number and the P.O. Box is in New Jersey... This Question is posted as a means of Consumer Awareness... Would it not be reasonable to assume that you can purchase items of the same quality at your local store as opposed to taking a chance on Commercials such as these? Would it also not be reasonable to assume that you can save a lot of money by shopping locally or even online rather than resorting to calling an 800 number or sending money to a P.O. Box? In my many years of being on this planet, I have yet to see any product on television that I ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE right at this very moment... It's quite silly. Traditional commercial advertising needs to go away - it's annoying not entertaining - and be replaced by further integrating products into the production of the television show, movie, etc. where actors in CSI for example are using the products, etc.
