Help me CUSTOMER DON'T CARE ABOUT OUR COSTS'
can you give me ur ideas about this CUSTOMERS DONT CARE ABOUT OUR COSTS....
if you were the customer, would you pay a high price for something you really want?
Additional Details
what is this mean (customer don't care about our costs')

This is what in economics is termed price elasticity - customers will pay only what they think a good or service is worth - as price increases, fewer customers will value the product or good enough to buy it. Some people may pay a high price for a good if they really want it, others will substitute an alternate good or service (for example, if I was having my lawn cut for $50 and it went to $75 because of the price of gas, I might consider cutting the lawn myself - as a customer, I don;t care about costs for the supplier, only what the price alternatives are).

Depends on what IT is. There are a lot of things that I will quit buying if the price goes up any more, like the cable.

No; especially with the internet the ability to find it cheaper somewhere else makes this line of logic irrational.

If the price can be justified and isn't price gouging, plus depending on the product or service, then yes. If it appears to be a lot of profit, then no.

If I felt the product was of high quality, I would pay for it. If I could get use out of it for a long duration, I would pay for it. The point is, if you're offering a cube thats got a one time use, and it is available everywhere else for $1, and you're trying to sell it for $4, its going to be a hard sell. If your product is unique, and not available anywhere else for that price or with your qualities, then you may be able to get more.

The point is, you need to prove why YOUR product/service is better than the competition.

Your question isn't clear. I don't really care how much it costs a store to produce what it sells. Is this what you're asking? I'm indifferent to the profit margin a store makes on its goods. Of course, a store's costs affects what it charges for an item.

Or do you mean "customers don't care about our prices"? There is a limit on what I and I suspect others will pay, based on the total price, the degree to which I want it, and the extent to which the price is competitive. I just bought a little flash drive from Staples for $7.99. Would I have paid $8.99? Probably. $20.99--no, because elsewhere it can be had for less and I don't want it badly enough.

Under $15 I'll buy it if I want it, as long as it is not absurd--e. g., $13.99 for an avocado. Some items I can't afford: I don't have tailor-made clothes (which I'd really like). However, a large area exists where I don't think much about what I am asked to fork over. If I want another frisbee, I'll probably pay without thinking whatever is on the sticker. If the shrimp platter is $10.95 or $8.95, etc.
