You used Adlinks; you have Google search, and you are using Google referrals -- but no Adsense box or any type of format. How can you expect to generate significant revenue if you are not using any format and relying only on peripheral Adsense products like Adlinks, etc?
To improve the performance of Adsense on your site, Google Adsense Help has good tips on where to put the ads on a blog (their blog heat map). Their tips are as follows: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=43869
1. Blend the ads on your blog
2. Experiment with multiple ad formats and locations
3. Offer readers more options with search and referrals
4. Improve site targeting

Add 336X280 blocks between posts (only allowed 3 per page)
Keep the text of the G ad the same as the text on your site, the ad title should be the same as the links on your site, the background should be the same as the rest of the page and no borders. The basic idea is to make the ads blend in to the site so that they do not appear as ads.
