Rollin' A Lawn...Naw, too cutesy.
How about keeping it professional and personal with
"Your Name Residential and Commercial Landscaping Service" (if you get just a few corporate clients to pay you a retainer, it really really helps with cash flow...each client that pays $100 a month to mow 2x a month and $250 per quarter to clean up, blow leaves, power wash....gives you an income stream of $2250 per year. Dentists, Law offices, small businesses are likely candidates.
No matter what you name it, the most important aspect of your business is customer service. Remember to offer mole removal service, or point out if you see carpenter ants. Sweep up unexpectedly if you're in the neighborhood. Visit all your clients after a big storm or wind burst to see if they need help removing trees from their driveway...after all, what's the marginal use of a chain saw if it helps you keep your customers happy and referring business?
I know a man who started with one lawnmower who worked his tail off and treated his customers like gold. He grew his business, took on major corporate clients, and made smart business decisions and investments...he just sold the business last year or so to a giant outfit and made in excess of 10m (est). That's in addition to providing a handsome income for his family throughout his working life, and creating an excellent reputation for himself in the community.
Customer service and knowledge combined with your appetite to be your own boss will trump any name you can think of. Clients will stay with you even if you change your name later....just get started! Good luck |
