I don't know that there is an infrared business card - but you may be referring to Raised Print Business Cards (Thermography Printing) and that would fall under the paper category since Raised Ink Business Cards are printed on your choice of card stock.
Paper gives business owners far greater flexibility when designing Company Business Cards and would be my choice.
